Dead couple named
The Christchurch police have named the young couple who were found dead in the bedroom of a New Brighton flat on Tuesday morning. They were Jeffrey Robert Stewart, aged Mt and Mary Alien Ramsay, aged 22. Both had been living in the Oram Avenue flat where their bodies were found by a friend at 10.15 a.m. on Tuesday. The cause of death and other details about the incident were not likely to be released before a Coroner’s Court hearing next month, said a police spokesman yesterday. There were no suspicious circumstances, the spokesman said.
