Harness classes
The standard of driving in the action and feature classes (in harness) was not up to the ability of the horses, according to top Australian judge, Mr T. J. Dwyer. He suggested that the judges should be allowed more time for the harness classes which now attracted so many entries. Over all, both the standard and the number of entries had improved at least 200 per cent since he last judged the event at Addington 22 years ago. he said.
