Gisborne woman gets $60,000
PA Wellington i A Gisborne ticket-holder, ‘Blue and Gold Syndicate." won the first prize of $60,000 in Golden Kiwi Jackpot Lottery number 38 drawn in Wellington yesterday. The jackpot was not struck. It will be worth $lOO,OOO in lottery number 39. which will be drawn on July 14. If it is not struck then, it must go to a ticket-holder in lottery number 40. The winner of yesterday’s first prize is a woman, who wishes to remain anonymous. She said that the nom-de-plume, "Blue aud Gold,” came from her fathers racing colours. She has. been a regular buyer of tickets} for many .rears, but this is her first success. Plans for the money?
