Indoor bowls teams
The Canterbury indoor bowls selectors have made two changes in the team to defend the A. S. Paterson Trophy against South Canterbury on June 25. Leon McLennan was not available and Ora Bate has been omitted. Derek Thomas, a former Marlborough representative, will make his debut for Canterbury and a young player, David Philpott. received his chance. Both are in good form at present. The team is: Barrie Weir, Bob Ludbrook. Lloyd Bellis, Alf Williamson (skip); Philpott, Thomas, Gary Barnes, Trevor Austin (skip).
