Gift pleases ' Robbie'
PA Aucklanc The Mayor of Aucklanc (Sir Dove-Myer Robinson) describes his latest preseni from Royalty as "a most exquisite and beautiful thing.” The Queen presented the Mayor and Mayoress (Sit Dove-Myer’s daughter) with a copper ind enamel trinket box at a private meeting or Thursday morning. The. gift which carries a hand-paintec picture of the Britannia, was in appreciation for the hospitality given the Queen it Auckland. Sir Dove-Myer said the trinket box would go on display in the civic administration building until he retires. Auckland City had no gif for the Queen, in line with i request from the Roya couple.
