HAMILTON Mar. 15.
Hamilton’s Mayor, Mr M. ;J. Minogue officially resigned today. Mr Minogue a • barrister and former schoolteacher, served just over one term in the city’s top job before winning the Hamilton West seat for National in the General Election. He served one term as a city councillor before defeating Dr Denis Rogers for the mayorality. The Town Clerk J. Minogue, officially reA. Lenz) said a by-election would be held on April 24.
