Four hurt in weekend accidents
A man is in a fairly comfortable condition in Christchurch Hospital after his motor-cycle and a car collided at the junction of Harewood and Crofton roads about 9.15 p.m. on Saturday. Scott Wiseman, aged 36, of 621 Harewood Road, suffered serious head injuries in the accident.
A Christchurch youth was admitted to hospital with moderately serious head injuries and lacerations after his car and a van collided in Riccarton Avenue at 5.25 p.m. on Saturday. He is Mark Hayston, aged 16, of 1 Hare
Street, Upper Riccarton. His condition was not available last evening. Raymond George Mcllwick, of 104 Bishop Street, is in a comfortable condition in Christchurch Hospital after an accident in Christchurch on Saturday.
Mr Mcllwick suffered moderately serious head injuries when a car and a taxi collided at the corner of Barbadoes Street and Canon Street about 6.15 p.m. A 21-year-old Christchurch man was admitted to hospital after his car hit a pole in Racecourse Road at 2.10 p.m. yesterday. Michael Grant Ransley, of 86A Matai Street, Riccarton, suffered serious head injuries in the accident. His condition was not available late last evening.
