Waiau irrigation

Sir, — I am sure that the (people of the Amuri, who take pride in their gardens, I welcomed ’ a Government member’s proposal to turn ithe Amuri irrigated lands ! into a lovely big garden ' with berry fruits, vegetables, etc. After growing and harevesting the fruits of their i labour, they would go to well-paid jobs at the local ( processing plant. The Goy(ernment departments will ’ advise these farmers how to borrow against their better ' judgement, and to labour for .the good of others. — ■ Yours, etc., BERRY BAD. May 29, 1975.
