RADIO NEWS STOP-WORK
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Radio and television journalists employed by the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation in Wellington will stop work tomorrow to discuss the restructuring of broadcasting. The president of the Radio and Television Journalists’ Society (Mr F. C. Wevers) said that some disatisfaction had been expressed by the staff.
“We thought it best to have a stop-work meeting and thrash it all out along with the directors-general and heads of the news services, or their representatives,” Mr Wevers said.
