Bus route extension
The Christchurch Transport Board has agreed to extend the South Brighton bus service by one block from Heron Street to Penguin Street. The extension has been made after the upgrading of Rockinghorse Road, the state of which has been the subject of controversy between ratepayers and the Christchurch City Council. . The board expects no additional patronage from the extension because those living south of the new terminus already use the service.
