London pride

Sir, — After reading your article “Charm of London still prevails,” I would like to congratulate Miss Taylor on having discovered the real London, As a Londoner, bred and born, I have heard many views, often detrimental, about my home town. So it was a real pleasure to read of someone who enjoys living and working there. As someone who has travelled round the world, I still find that, in my heart, there will never be anywhere quite like London. — Yours, etc., COCKNEY KID. January 13, 1975. .
