Lakes park handbook

The third edition of the Nelson Lakes National Park handbook has been published in revised form. The park is one of the smaller of New Zealand’s national parks, but, as the handbook shows, it is full of interest. The park derives its name from the two main lakes within its boundary — Rotoiti and Rotoroa. Apart from the lakes, the main features are the mountains, one of which. Mount Robert, has a ski-field.
