Pt ess Association WELLINGTON A decision not to support the installation of poker machines in clubs was made by ; the national executive of the ‘Association of Working Men’s and Cosmopolitan Clubs in Wellington. “Any inference that the ■ installation of such machines has the support of the organisation is totally incorrect, and is only' the opinion of individual members of clubs.” said the association's president (Mr E .1 Beagle) in a statement issued alter the meeting
