Addington market MOST STORE SHEEP VALUES EASIER

Store lambs had a slightly better sale at the Addington market yesterday, but all breeding ewes were easier.

Large galleries followed the sale, after [ rain on Monday night had brought harvesting to a stop. However, 1 buyers treated lhe mari ket with caution, and . some ewes looked very realistically priced. The store sheep yarding was 21.835. compared with [28,565 last week, and it consisted of 3715 wether lambs, 2385 ewe lambs, 6615 twoItooth ewes, and 9120 adult sheep.

A reduced yarding of store lambs had a slighUy better sale. Corriedale and halfbreds again made up the bulk of the yarding. and quality was quite good.
