RUGBY MATCH N.S.W. may visit N.Z.
t.V.Z. Press Associationt WELLINGTON. The Wellington and New South Wales representative Rugby teams may meet annually on Anzac Day. In a letter to the New South Wales Rugby L'nlon, the Wei lington union said that its committee was "extremely Interested in the proposition." Talks have taken place between representatives of the unions. The Wellington union’s letter was tabled at its management committee meeting last night. Wellington has suggested that New South Wqles plays in Wei(lington on Anzac Day, Thursday, (April 25. this year Mr J. M. Taylor, retiring chairman of the Wellington union, said: “We have set out to get New South Wales views in punciple.” The Wellington union pioposes that New South Wales arrives in New Zealand on April 23 or April 24. and leaves Wellington on April 26. in time for Saturday dub play
