• 6V.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Dec. 12. i A schoolboy drowned ini [the sea while on an outing’ Ito Long Bay Beach, [Auckland this afternoon. He [was Richard Stevens, aged seven, i of Birkenhead. [ The police said the boy' was one of a group of children on an organised outing. He apparently strayed from the group and' got into ; difficulties in the water. The outing supervisor, brought him ashore but re--1 suscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
