A young woman was killed and two men badly injured in a head-on collision at Maroa, 17 miles north of Taupo, on State highway one, yesterday afternoon. The dead woman, who was the sole occupant of one car, was
Miss Jennifer Margeret Long, aged 21, of Wikiriwhi Crescent, Palmerston North.
A young woman was killed when a car and a truck collided in Blockhouse Bay Road, Avondale, early this morning. She was Katherine Anne Murphy, aged 20, of Malvern Road, Mount Albert.
