Big rocket attack

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SAIGON, December 6. Fifty-three Russian-made rockets slammed into Saigon’s Tan Son Nhut air base today, killing nine persons and wounding 54 others, the South Vietnamese Command said. It was the biggest rocket attack against Saigon since February, 1968, when the Tet offensive was launched with an 86-round rocket barrage against the same sprawling installation. The command said that the death toll included one child who was killed when a rocket hit a schoolroom on the edge of the air base.
