Judges of critics

The professor of music at Victoria University, Miss Jenny McLeod, has joined the panel of judges for the J. C. Reid Award for arts criticism.

The award, entries for which will close this week, is to be made annually to a journalist for “excellence in arts criticism," either for one article, or for a series. Professor McLeod was appointed jointly by the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council and the New Zealand Journalists’ Association. The other judges are lan Cross and Noel Hilliard.
