Sabotage bid fails

Twenty sticks of dynamite were found in a jet fuel tank at the United States Strategic Air Command base, near Sawyer, Michigan, yesterday, when the tank was drained on the advice of secret service agents and the search of the huge, above-ground container began after it had been reported that 46 sticks of dynamite had been discovered a short distance from the base. A man has been arrested.—Marquette, Sept. 24.
