Bavarians celebrate
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) MUNICH, September 25. Munich has begun its Oktober Festival with even greater Bavarian determination to make it the largest beer-drinking orgy the world has ever known. During the next two weeks a river of beer will flow down about five million thirsty throats to the accomapiment of oom-pah-pah bands, drinking songs, roast oxen and chicken, and miles of the famous Bavarian sausage. Last year, visitors to the I festival consumed nearly '925,000 gallons of beer, i 486,000 roast chickens, and 563,000 sausages.
