Bahama post for N.Z. man

A New Zealander, Mr H. A. C. Ross, has been appointed administrative director of the Nassau-Part-dise Island Promotion Boaid in the Bahamas. Mr Ross has had more than 16 years in hotel administration and sales, including periods with the Tourist Hotel Corporation as relief manager at the Hermitage, Mount Cook, and the Milford Hotel. He has also been associated with major hotels in London, Lausanne (Switzerland), Hong Kong, and Singapore. He has also been assistant vice-president of the Leonard Hicks Organisation in Europe and headed that company’s intemation division as manager of the Miami, Florida, office. Mr Ross has worked in the Bahamas before, his last appointment there being executive assistant manager of the Nassau Beach Hotel between 1965 and 1967.
