Disney on Parade
Sir, —As we go to very few entertainments we decided as a special treat to go to the show on Friday evening. It was a magnificent show in every way, except that we could not see very well because of insufficient elevation of the seats. Having paid for the $4.50 seats, expecting to be able to relax for an evening of enjoyment, we spent the evening craning our necks and shifting our position in our seats. My small son was so disappointed at not being able to see, I ended up by letting him stand on the seat. Many other kiddies in the same area were doing the. same. I checked to make sure he would not be obstructing too many behind him. Fortunately, they were mainly empty seats. However, it apparently did obstruct someone’s view and we were then the subjects of abuse. Second, the cost of various foodstuffs outside the big top seemed prohibitive. Is there no price control to govern the sale of. such things as waffles at 20 cents, hot dogs at 25 cents, and icecreams 8c dearer than normal price?—Yours, etc., STIFF, SORE AND DISAPPOINTED. February 21,1972. [No reply has been received from the management, which was invited to comment.]
