LYSTER INVITED
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. N. Lyster, the surprise omission from the five-man Olympic Games cycling trial squad, has been invited to attend the final trials at Wanganui this weekend. R. Hyde, the young Canterbury cyclist who was included in the squad of five riders with J. Dean and R. Oliver (Wellington) and B. Stodkwell and P. Biydon (Canterbury), was to have faced his big test tonight. But he crashed heavily fast week-end and is reported to have been unable to ride all week because of an infection in a deeply grazed leg. Lyster will be given a chance of gaining selection today, possibly in a team that will be attacking the record held by a composite squad of Dean, Brydon. Stockwell and Lyster at
