A national trick* record holder, Canterbury's B. Murray, scored 1830 points, 14 better than hi* old mark, to easily win the senior men'* section over-all at the New Zealand water-ski championships on Lake Karapiro yesterday. G. Hole (Waikato) won the men’s section first round from R. Jones (Auckland), G. Ellis (Auckland), P. Bartley (Auckland), W. Ruske (Canterbury), and W. Coughey (Auckland). Miss M. Halligan (Auckland) did not reach the lead in any event, but she retained her overaU title over Miss J. Caimey (Canterbury), winner of the slalom and the jump, and over the tricks winner. Miss P. Clapshaw (Canterbury).
