General at Waiouru
<N.Z Press Association) WAIOURU, February 10.' General William Westmoreland, the Chief of the United States Army Staff, spent most of today examining New Zealand Army training methods at Waiouru.
General Westmoreland arrived in Waiouru this morning by helicopter, and was met by the commander of the Home Command (Brigadier J. Bums) and the commander of the Army Training Group (Colonel B. Poananga). During a briefing on Army training General Westmoreland commented that some aspects of the New Zealand training system were unique in his experience.
