Three houses sold
A bid of s76oo—almost double the Government valuation of s4ooo—obtained a property at 132 Aidwins Road, Linwood, when it was offered at auction yesterday. The 48-perch section, zoned residential 2, has on it a twobedroom timber house, needing renovation, and a garage. The auctioneer was Mr J. L. T. Dyer, of George Anderson and Son, Ltd. A wooden house of two bedrooms on a 25.6-perch section at 62 Richardson Terrace, Radley, brought $5BOO at auction yesterday. Other buildings include a garage and workshop. The Government valuation is $4350. The auctioneer was Mr D. O. Chapman, of Ford and
Hadfield, Ltd, which also arranged the private sale of a property at 8 Hands Road, Hillmorton, passed in at $4BOO at auction on Monday.
