Auckland Cup entries
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Eighty-three entries—the same number as last year—have been received for the $40,000 Auckland Cup at Ellerslie on New Year’s day. Thirteen of the entries are from stables outside the Auckland province but only Sailing Home and Trelay are from the South Island. Nominations for the Auckland Cup are:— Abbey’s Son.
