Success for Play Bill
The American-bred stallion, Play Bill, is enjoying success in the United States, where he was mated with four mares before being shipped to New Zealand. Three of Play Bill's foals, now two-year-olds, have been successful, two of them winning qualifying heats of the Quebec Two-year-old Stakes run recently. Happy Century won his heat in 2min ssec, the fastest of the five run, while Brunella Bill won in 2min 6sec.
