An industrial property on 37 perches at 22 Caversham Street, through to Williams Street, was passed in at auction on Friday at $23,000. The Government valuation is $22,800. Improvements to the property include an office block, joinery shop, iron shed, timber racks, and a lunch-room. It was offered on account of R. C. Jamieson, Ltd, by the NMA Company of New Zealand, Ltd. The property is on the route of a proposed motorway. Forty-seven perches of in-dustrial-zone land at 433 Selwyn Street was sold at auction yesterday for $12,000. The Government valuation is $BOOO. It was offered by Smiths City Market.
