Obituary

MR A. BRYCE Mr A. Bryce, a top horseman some 20 years ago, died in Auckland last week after a brief illness.

Mr Bryce, at the age of 17, drove Man o'War to win the 1921 Auckland Cup. a race he won with Gold Jacket. He also won a New Zealand Cup with Kohara.

A son of Mr J. Bryce, a leading trainer for many years, he did much of the breaking and gaiting of horses for his father. Mr Bryce was more recently associated with Yendarra Stud,. Otahuhu. He is survived by a son and a daughter.
