Two N.Z. Mares In U.S. Foal
Julie Hanover and Anarca Direct, both New Zealandbred mares, have foaled recently at the late Mr M. Tananbaum’s White Devon Farm Stud. Julie Hanover, which graduated to New Zealand Cup : class when raced by her Yaldhurst trainer, G. B. Noble and Mr A. J. Cunningham, of Halswell, was got by Garrison Hanover from Spangled Brigade. She has foaled a colt by Greentree Adios. Anarca Direct has a fitly by the same sire. She, -too. graduated to New Zealand Cup class when trained by W. R. Butt at Templeton for Mr F. W. Kemp, of Auckland. Near the end of her career she was secured by Mr N. Simpson, then of Auckland. She was got by Smokey Hanover from Mae Direct.
