ffi.Zi ere«« A««n —Copvriolul HAMILTON, May 14. The hero of the Kgjmai tunnel disaster, Mr Murray Hemopo, will receive the George Medal tomorrow, for his part in the rescue operations. This- was confirmed by a spokesman at Government House today. ' Mr Hemopo, who is 37. was trapped in the tunnel with six other survivors. He directed the rescue operations from when the tunnel collapsed on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 24 until the men emerged late on the following Friday.
