(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) „ KUALA LUMPUR. G. Lawrence (New Zealand) won his second successive 60-lap Selangor Grand Prix race after the leading Australian challenger, M. Stewart, dropped out in the third lap with suspension trouble.

Lawrence, skilfully steering his 2.4 litre Ferrari Dino V 6 through 25 minutes of driving rain on Sunday, won the 126-mile race in Ihr 41min 45.55ec. It was a brilliant double for Lawrence, who won tile Singapore Grand Prix last week and also won both the Selangor and Singapore races last year.

J. MacDonald (Hong Kong), in a Brabham FVA F2 came in two laps behind Lawrence in a time of 1:43:5.2. A. Poon (Hong Kong), also in a Brabham, was third, J. Bussell (Malaysia, Brabham F2) fourth, and H. Iriawan (Indonesia, Alfin 600) fifth. Another New Zealander, G. Perry, stole the show in the 60-lap motor-cycle event, winning in Ihr 42min 58.8 sec. Perry, aged 20, had a runaway win on his 500 c.c. Suzuki. Ou Teck Wing (Malaysia) was second, and Sonny Soh (Malaysia) third.
