(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico). A. Ashe (United States), has become the second tennis player to win the Caribe Hilton international tennis tournament three times. Ashe defeated C. Rickey (United States), 6-4, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, to win the title on Sunday. R. Emerson (Australia), is the only other player who has accomplished the triple feat Ashe won the tournament first in 1966 and then in 1969. These were the only years he participated in the tournament R. Carmichael and T. Addison (Australia), won the men’s doubles title by defeating Ashe and C. Pasarell (Puerto Rico), 3-6, 8-6, 6-3, 6-3.
