(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) GAUHATI (India). Australia was 136 runs ahead with eight second innings wickets in hand, at the close on the second of its three-day match against East Zone in India. Australia dismissed East Zone for 157 to lead by 93 on the first innings. By the close it had added 43 for two. A. Mallett, an off-spinner, broke the East Zone innings with a spell of five for 37 from 20 overs.
