National Table Tennis Rankings

(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. A. R. Tomlinson, of Auckland, the national table tennis singles champion, and the player who went through the New Zealand inter-association teams matches this year without a loss, has been ranked No. 1 player in this country.

Tomlinson, aged 34, has won the national title three times. No. 1 ranking in the women’s section has gone to a Dunedin player, Miss Y. Fogarty, aged 17, who was unbeaten in New Zealand this year. She was awarded the na-

tional “player of the year” trophy. The rankings are:—
