Ruffels Wins Third Title
(N.Z. Press Am.—Carnright) BRISBANE. The Australian Davis Cup player, R. Rudels, pressed home his overnight advantage to win the Queensland men’s singles tennis championship yesterday. RuSels beat another Australian, A. Stone, «-4. 7-5. 8-7 In 30 minutes yesterday after leading 3M on his own servo when rain stopped play the evening before. Ruffe!s gained bls tMrd title of tbe tournament when he paired witb Stone to beat G. Masters and J. Bartlett, both of Australia. 8-4. »-7, 8-3, in the men’s doubles final. On Saturday Ruffels and Miss K. Krantzcke won the mixed doubles Anal.
