Papanui reversed the result of Us second-round match against United when it won the final of the Deep Freeze sponsored senior men’s softball knock-out tournament ar Burnside Park last evening, 7-0. United had won the early game, 4-0. Xhe tournament was played over two days, teams remaining until they had lost two games. It was organised on behalf of the Harold E. Holt communications station team, and an American servicemen's team from the North-west of Australis. Unfortunately, the visitors have been delayed a week because of transport difficulties and, will not arrive until next week-end. Richmond, the likely winner of the senior competition, lost both its games on Sunday.
