Property Sales
An 18-perch property zoned commercial B, with a proposed change to industrial 3, at 234 Barbadoes Street, was sold for $12,500 at auction yesterday. The Government valuation is $9450. An early iron-roofed bungalow converted into two flats is on the property. The auctioneer was Mr G. White, of Hutchinson, White, Ltd. A roughcast house with three bedrooms at 47 Bedruth Avenue was sold for $5400. The Government valuation is $4050. The auctioneer was Mr C. Blackett, of Livingstone and Company. A three-bedroomed wooden bungalow on one rood 23 perches at 23 Port Hills Road, Heathcote Valley, was passed in at $5600. The auctioneer was Mr P. T. Bat'tersby, of Ford and Hadfield, .Ltd.
