T.A.B. Agent Remanded

(IV.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Oct. 15. A charge alleging the theft of money as a servant of the Totalisator Agency Board was preferred against the Aramoho T.A.B. agent, Robert Charles Graham, in the Magistrate’s Court today. Graham, aged 35, was charged with stealing $75, the property of his employer, on Monday. He was remanded to next Tuesday. Bail of $3OO, with a $3OO surety, was allowed by Mr J. C. K. Fabian, S.M., after Detective Sergeant P. W. Harkess said bail would not be opposed. Sergeant Harkess said Graham was ai-rested in Taumarunui on Monday and remanded to Wanganui yesterday. “A considerable sum of money is involved and the present charge is a holding charge only.” he said. “Further inquiries are to be made."
