Mr Kirk’s Election Campaign Itinerary
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 15. The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk) will open the Labour Party’s election campaign in the Auckland Town Hall on November 4.
He has 22 official speaking engagements in the fourweek period leading up to polling day on November 29. His final address will be in Wellington on November 27. Mr Kirk’s itinerary, released by his office today, is as follows: November 4, Auckland; November 5, Tauranga; November 6, Whangarei; November 7, Taumarunui; November 8, Papakura; November 9, Ngaruawahia. November 10, Hastings (2.30 p.m.) and Napier; November 11, Christchurch; November 12, Invercargill; November 13, Oamaru; November 14, Dunedin. November 17, Rotorua: November 18, Turangi (2.30 p.m.) and Tokoroa; November 19, Hamilton; November 20, Gisborne; November 21, Wanganui. November 24, Masterton; November 25, Palmertson North; November 26, New Plymouth; November 27, Wellington. The itinerary of the Deputy Leader of the Opposi-
tion (Mr Watt) was also released today. He will speak on the same platform as Mr Kirk in Auckland on November 4 and will end his tour with an address in Rotorua on November 26.
His itinerary is as follows: November 4, Auckland; November 5, Christchurch; November 6, Dunedin; November 7, Bluff. November 11. New Plymouth; November 12, Masterton (2.30 p.m.) and Carterton; November 13, Wellington (Miramar); November 14, Hamilton.
