Hawkstone Has Mineral Find
(N.Z. Pr«te 4un—CopyHpM)' PERTH. October 10. Hawkstone Minerals, Ltd, a mineral mining and petroleum investment company registered in Perth, yesterday announced that primary cbppqr mineralisation has been noted over a strike length of eight mites at its Mount Stapleton prospect.
Samples from one'gossanferous outcrop have assayed up to 2.5 per cent copper, 6.3 per cent lead and 6 per cent rinc in layered , volcanic rocks. '. ( Ultrabade rocks had also been found in the area and would be prospected for nickel mineralisation, the announcement. said. The total area pf mineral claims, either optioned er taken up by the company in this locality, amount to 31,400 acres, and g "vigorous exploration programme is planned, including coateahing, drill and geochemical geophysical surveys.”
