POLICE WIN TWO FINALS

Police won both the Rugby and soccer finals when the inter-services sports tourament ended at Wlmun yesterday. They beat Navy, 23-17, to take the Spencer Cup for Rugby, which Navy won last year, and also beat Navy, 4-1, in the soccer. The third and final round of the golf tournament was won by the Army. Army and Air Force shared match points but on the count-back Army won, 221-211. In the golf, the Carter Cup was won by the Army the Ajax Plate by the Air Force. The service champion was T. Wereta (Army) and the I.G.A. Shield was won by S. M. Meredith (Police).
