Mr A. Cargo, principal lecturer in education in the secondary division of the Christchurch Teachers’ College since 1965, has been appointed, dean of the secondary division by the college council. He was previously senior lecturer in education and for a time taught in England. From 1957-60, Mr Cargo was Colombo Plan expert in Indonesia associated with a university faculty of teacher training. Mr G. Burton, the senior salesman in Christchurch for the New Zealand Fruitgrowers* Federation, Ltd, will become its branch manager at Roxburgh in December. Mr R. C. Sutcliffe, District Commisisoner of Taxes, Dunedin, will assist in a review of the taxation system for the Government of Botswana.
