Ice Skating

Begins Today Conditions are good at Lake Ida for the New Zealand long track ice skating championships this week-end. Most of the lake is covered by eight inches of black ice, and the snow, which caused the cancellation of the championships last week-end, has gone. Racing will be held over both days and will begin at 10.30 a.m. today.
