Plan For W. Irian Indonesia has proposed to the United Nations that the people of West Irian should begin on July 10 the formal process of deciding whether to remain under the administration of Indonesia.—New York, May 15. Film Revival British television will turn back the clock for half a century later this year to show, at a cost of £BOOO, a series of 26 “silent era” films. Among them are “The Bond,” a propaganda film made by Charlie Chaplin in 1918, and W. C. Field’s first film, “Pool Sharks,” made in 1915. Other stars in the series include Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton and Laurel and Hardy.—London, May 15. More Aid Proposed An additional allocation of SUSIm for the continuation of relief emergency aid to victims of the civil war in Nigeria will be recommended by the United Nations Children's Fund later this month. Previous allocations have totalled sUS2.4m.—New York, May 15.
