DANNEVIRKE, May 12.

A man died on Saturday evening when the car he was driving plunged 300 feet over a bank near Weber, cast of Dannevirke. He was

Ewen McLeod Nicol, aged 24, single, a truck driver, ? Waione.

Wreckage from the vehicle was strewn over the cliffface.

The accident is believed to have happened late on Saturday evening but was not discovered until late yesterday afternoon. Mr Nicol’s body was found in the river at the bottom of the cliff, 100 yards from the wreckage.
