Mr J. F. Keane, S.M., of Lower Hutt, Mr D. S. Beattie, Q.C., of Auckland, Mr J. E. Farrell, barrister and solicitor, of Oamaru, and Mr W. G. Smith, barrister and solicitor, of Wellington, have been appointed members of the Courts Martial Appeal Court for a period of three years.— (PA.)
Mr B. C. Chilvers, manager of the Christchurch branch of the Royal Insurance Group, has retired after 45 years service. A farewell function was held recently by the Insurance Association of Christchurch to mark his retirement
