Medical Corps Camp

A Hercules of the Royal New Zealand Air Force will this month take members of the Otago University M ’kal Corps from Auckland and Dunedin to Burnham Military Camp, where the annual camp of the corps is to be held. Between May 14 and 28 the 220 men in camp will have basic recruit training, specialist medical training, officer training, and a ‘ fourday field exercise at Little Malaya. With the camp will be the Army’s laundry unit from the North Island. Designed to wash linen for casualty clearance stations in the field, the unit is run by two men, who can handle 601 b of washing each 10 minutes. A shower unit from Burnham which 500 men a day can use will also be available for the camp,
